Caymus is a 25-year-old ceramic artist from Napa, California, currently based in Los Angeles. He started Caymus Andrew in the summer of 2023 after finishing his bachelor’s degree in business. Over the past two years, he has developed a distinct style that leans toward modern design and minimalism. His work is inspired by the idea that naturally occurring materials, like clay, are often most beautiful when left as they are.

His work consists of multiple collections that highlight this belief and emphasize the true beauty of raw stoneware. His approach prioritizes form, balance, and restraint, allowing the material itself to remain the focal point. He gravitates toward undeniably beautiful forms and often leaves them untouched.
